How do I sign a PDF without printing it?
Open FilesAll's Sign PDF tool and add your PDF. Type your name, pick a handwriting style, then tap a Sign tag or drag the signature where it belongs. Press Download and the signature becomes a permanent part of the page. The PDF stays in your browser on your own device and is never uploaded.

Is a typed signature legally valid?
It is a simple electronic signature. In the US, Canada and the EU, simple e-signatures are generally accepted for everyday documents, like forms, agreements and permission slips. They are not enough for documents that need a notary, a witness or a certificate.
Does FilesAll check who is signing?
No. FilesAll does not verify identity. It places your signature on the page, the same way you would sign a printed copy.
Can I draw my signature instead of typing it?
A drawn signature is part of Pro, along with initials, more handwriting styles and saving your signature on your device. Typing your name with a choice of handwriting styles is free.
Can someone remove my signature from the PDF?
The signature is merged into the page when you download, so it is not a separate piece that can simply be lifted off or edited.
My PDF is a form with boxes to fill in. Can I do that too?
