How do I fill out and sign a PDF form?

Frequently asked questions
What if my PDF has no boxes to type in?
You can still add text anywhere on the page. This works for scanned forms too, but on a scan you place the text and signature yourself, because there are no fields to find.
Will the date be in the right format?
Yes. The date is written the way your device shows dates, so it matches what people expect where you live.
Is the signed form legally binding?
It is a simple electronic signature, and FilesAll does not verify identity. That is fine for most everyday forms, but not for documents that need a notary, a witness or a certificate.
My PDF already has a digital certificate. Can I sign it?
FilesAll warns you first, because changing a PDF that carries a certificate-based digital signature breaks that signature. Ask the sender for a fresh copy if you are unsure.
How do I send the signed form back?
Press Download, then attach the PDF to an email like any other file. If it is too big to send, open Compress PDF and make it smaller first.
