This PDF has a password

The file is unlocked on this device. Your password is never sent anywhere. The smaller file keeps the same password.

How do I make a PNG file smaller?

Open FilesAll's Compress PNG tool, add your PNG images and press Compress. FilesAll saves each image again in a smaller form, keeps it as a PNG and shows the size before and after. You can also set a maximum width. It all runs in your browser, so your images are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Why are PNG files so big?

PNG keeps every detail of an image, which is great for screenshots, logos and drawings but makes photos very large. Compressing finds a more efficient way to store the same picture.

Will my image still be a PNG?

Yes. The compressed file is still a PNG, so it works anywhere the original did. Only the file size changes.

Should I convert my PNG to JPG instead?

If the image is a photo, JPG is usually much smaller, so use PNG to JPG. For screenshots, text and images with see-through areas, keep it as a PNG and compress it.

Can I compress a screenshot I just copied?

Yes. Paste it straight onto the page and press Compress. You do not need to save it as a file first.

Is FilesAll free?

Yes. You can use FilesAll free every day without signing up, and the tool shows how many free files you have left today. A free account gives you more each day, and Pro removes the daily limit.

Do I need to install anything?

No. FilesAll works in the web browser you already have, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to start.

Are my files uploaded?

No. FilesAll does all the work inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and they disappear when you close the tab.

Want to check for yourself? Your browser's developer tools list every request this page makes. None of them carries your file.
