Convert PNG to JPG
Turn large PNG images into smaller JPG files that are easy to share.
How do I convert a PNG to a JPG?
Open FilesAll's PNG to JPG tool, add your PNG images and press Convert. Each image is saved as a JPG, which is usually much smaller and opens everywhere. You can adjust the quality with a slider. Everything runs in your browser on your own device, so your images are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
JPG cannot store see-through areas, so transparent parts of the PNG will not stay transparent. If you need transparency, keep the image as a PNG.
How much smaller will the JPG be?
For photos, JPG is often many times smaller than PNG. For screenshots and simple graphics the saving is smaller, and text edges can look slightly softer.
What quality setting should I use?
The default works well for most images. Lower the slider for a smaller file, or raise it if you see blurry edges.
Can I convert screenshots to JPG?
Yes. Paste or add your screenshots and convert them. For screenshots with lots of small text, a higher quality setting keeps the text clearer.
Is FilesAll free?
Yes. You can use FilesAll free every day without signing up, and the tool shows how many free files you have left today. A free account gives you more each day, and Pro removes the daily limit.
Do I need to install anything?
No. FilesAll works in the web browser you already have, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to start.
Are my files uploaded?
No. FilesAll does all the work inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and they disappear when you close the tab.
Want to check for yourself? Your browser's developer tools list every request this page makes. None of them carries your file.
