Frequently asked questions
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default. It keeps photos small, but many Windows computers, older Android phones and websites cannot open it. JPG works almost everywhere.
Will my photos lose quality?
At the default setting the difference is very hard to see. JPG files are usually a little larger than HEIC. If you need the best possible quality, convert to PNG instead.
Is the photo's location removed?
Yes, by default. Photos often record where they were taken. FilesAll removes that location data from the JPG unless you turn on the option to keep it.
Can I convert HEIC to JPG on my iPhone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari or any browser on your iPhone, choose photos from your library and download the JPGs. Nothing needs to be installed.
Can I put my iPhone photos into one PDF?
Yes. Use Images to PDF. It takes HEIC photos directly, so you do not need to convert them to JPG first.
Is FilesAll free?
Yes. You can use FilesAll free every day without signing up, and the tool shows how many free files you have left today. A free account gives you more each day, and Pro removes the daily limit.
Do I need to install anything?
No. FilesAll works in the web browser you already have, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to start.
Are my files uploaded?
No. FilesAll does all the work inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and they disappear when you close the tab.
Want to check for yourself? Your browser's developer tools list every request this page makes. None of them carries your file.
