How do I split a PDF into separate files without uploading it?
Open FilesAll's Split PDF tool and add your PDF. You see every page as a small picture. Split it by page ranges, every few pages, or only the pages you select, then download the new files. Everything runs in your browser on your own device, so the PDF is never uploaded and each page stays exactly as it was.

Frequently asked questions
Can I save just one page from a PDF?
Yes. Select that page and split it out. You get a new PDF with only that page, and your original file is not changed.
Can I split a PDF into equal parts?
Yes. Choose to split every few pages, for example every 2 pages, and FilesAll makes a new PDF for each group.
Will the pages lose quality?
No. Splitting only moves pages into new files. The text, pictures and layout of every page stay exactly the same.
Does it work with long documents?
Yes. For documents with hundreds of pages, the page pictures load as you scroll, so you can start choosing right away.
Can I put the parts back together later?
Yes. Use Merge PDF to combine PDFs into one file again, in any order you like.
Is FilesAll free?
Yes. You can use FilesAll free every day without signing up, and the tool shows how many free files you have left today. A free account gives you more each day, and Pro removes the daily limit.
Do I need to install anything?
No. FilesAll works in the web browser you already have, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to start.
Are my files uploaded?
No. FilesAll does all the work inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and they disappear when you close the tab.
Want to check for yourself? Your browser's developer tools list every request this page makes. None of them carries your file.
