Start over?

You have files you have not downloaded yet. They will be cleared from this page.

How do I rotate a PDF and save it permanently?

Open FilesAll's Rotate PDF tool and add your PDF. Each page shows as a small picture. Turn a single page, or all pages at once, a quarter turn at a time, then press Download. The new rotation is saved in the file, so it opens the right way everywhere. Nothing is uploaded, because it all runs in your browser.

How to rotate a PDF in 3 steps

  1. Add your PDF

Press Choose files, or drag your PDF onto the page. Each page shows up as a small picture.

  2. Turn the pages

Use the rotate button on a page to turn it a quarter turn, or rotate all pages at once.

  3. Download the fixed PDF

Press Download to save the PDF with the pages facing the right way. Your original file is not changed.

Frequently asked questions

Will the rotation stay when I open the PDF later?

Yes. The rotation is saved inside the new PDF, so it opens the right way in any PDF viewer, on any device.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Rotate just the pages that are wrong and leave the rest alone. You can also rotate every page at once.

Why are my scanned pages sideways?

Scanners and phone cameras sometimes save a page in the wrong direction. Rotating it here fixes the page for good without scanning again.

Does rotating change the content of the page?

No. Only the direction changes. The text, pictures and layout of each page stay exactly as they were.

Is FilesAll free?

Yes. You can use FilesAll free every day without signing up, and the tool shows how many free files you have left today. A free account gives you more each day, and Pro removes the daily limit.

Do I need to install anything?

No. FilesAll works in the web browser you already have, on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to install, and you do not need an account to start.

Are my files uploaded?

No. FilesAll does all the work inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and they disappear when you close the tab.

Want to check for yourself? Your browser's developer tools list every request this page makes. None of them carries your file.
